Wait In Silence For My Hope Is From Him

Whenever I get anxious I have to remind myself that God is my fortress and I need to wait for Him. I have to remind myself that I am in full control of what I do and that my my choice needs to be to wait for Him. I have to remind myself that my hope is from Him.

For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.

Psalm‬ ‭62:5-6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

God never promises easy. He does promises he will be with us through everything. God is my rock and my fortress and my salvation. My only task is to not be moved and wait for Him.

I hope this verse encourages you like it does me. Sometimes I just need a reminder of God’s amazing and unwavering love for me and this verse speaks volumes.
