Nothing is bigger than God

“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”‭‭ Matthew‬ ‭6:30‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Nothing is bigger than God. Nothing is bigger than God. This is something I have to repeat to myself daily, hourly, and when I am going through something, every minute. Nothing is bigger than God.

Something about these words is incredibly freeing and uplifting and they go so well with “God is with me”.

“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:26‬ ‭ESV‬‬

In times of struggle, when everything seems to be crashing around my head, work stress, bills, repairs and so many other things, I have to remember that nothing is bigger than God. He has the world and my issues are so little compared to His power. He has me, and nothing is bigger than him, so why am I stressing about it?

I write this as a reminder to myself and also as encouragement for anyone who feels despair, lost or lonely. If you know Jesus already God has you. If you don’t, God seeks you. Either way God is right there waiting to take whatever ails you. You just have to believe in Him, give it to Him and let Him work.

Be encouraged and lifted today. God is bigger. Period.
